YSP Admission - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for YSP 2022 should be aware of the eligibility requirements that must be met to be considered for the exam. Candidates who will not meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified. The following requirements for various courses are available to candidates:

UG | Candidates must have finished their 10+2 from a recognised board of education with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, and English as compulsory courses. Applicants from countries other than India must have completed their equivalent of 10+2 with science subjects. | Students seeking for UG studies at the university must have finished their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, and English as obligatory subjects from a recognized board of education, with a minimum of 45 percent for SC/ST/PH candidates. |
PG | Candidates who have finished their B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons) in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Forestry with a CGPA of at least 6.0 on a scale of ten, or an equivalent of 60% in other situations. | Candidates who have finished their B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons) in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Forestry with a CGPA of at least 5.5 out of ten on a ten-point scale, or an equivalent of 55 percent in other situations for SC/ST/PH categories. |
MBA PROGRAMS | Candidates for the MBA (Agribusiness) programme must have a B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 5.5/10 (55%) or a B grade (or equivalent for foreign universities). Candidates for the MBA programme must have earned a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent, or a B grade from a recognized foreign university. | SC/ST/PWD students must have passed B.Sc Agricultural Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 5.0/10 to be considered for MBA (Agribusiness).
For SC/ST/PWD students, an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 45 percent must be completed before applying for an MBA. |

The results of the Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar (YSP) University admission test will be posted on the university's official website. The results will be provided in the form of a PDF document, which candidates must review.
