The university offers B.An LLB and BBA LLB courses at Bachelor’s level. Admissions to the University are made based on CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Given below are the eligibility criteria for the Chanakya National Law University UG courses.

CNLU Patna offers LLD and Ph.D. courses at the Doctorate level. The university releases the application form in January every year. The application procedure for admission to these courses is online. The mode of admission to these courses is through the entrance exam (Ph.D. Entrance Test). Selection is made strictly based on merit in the entrance exam. The application process of the CNLU differs as per the courses. For UG integrated and LLM programmes, one can register online through the official website of CLAT whereas, for the LLD, D.Phil Ph.D. programmes application takes place in offline mode.
