Admission Through AUCAT / UPCET
Avadh University Combined Admission Test (AUCAT) is the entrance examination conducted by Avadh University annually for admission to undergraduate courses. The test measures the aptitude and knowledge of applicants in various subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and GK. Candidates will be evaluated based on their score in AUCAT.

RMLAU Admission 2023 UG Courses
RMLAU offers various undergraduate courses B.Tech., BBA, BCA, B.Li.Sc and B.P.Ed in its course curriculum. Admission to BBA, BCA, B.LI.Sc courses offered by RMLAU is based on merit while for B.Tech, students have to qualify in UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU. RMLAU Admission 2023 Postgraduate Courses
RMLAU offers various postgraduate courses such as MCA, M.Sc, MA, M.Li.Sc, MTA, MSW and PG Diploma. Admission to PG courses offered by RMLAU is purely subject to merit, i.e. on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and entrance test (AUCAT) conducted by the university. - To secure admission, students have to secure at least 18 marks in AUCAT (Avadh Univerity Common Admission Test) while for B.P.Ed & LL.B courses 25 marks are desired.
- Those candidates who have completed their B.Ed degree through Distance Education mode are not eligible to apply for M.Ed.
RMLAU PhD. Admission 2023
RMLAU offers PhD in various disciplines at the Doctorate level. The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have passed Master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate. Note:
- GATE, CSIR (UGC), JRF or NET qualified candidates will be exempted from the Common Eligibility Test.
- Final year students can also apply for admission in PhD course.
- Minimum qualifying marks for CET are 40% in each paper followed by an aggregate of 50% in total.
AUCAT Exam Pattern
- The Awadh University common admission test will consist of two MCQs based papers for the duration of two & three hours respectively. The first paper will consist of 100 questions from Research Aptitude & General Awareness while the second paper will consist of 200 questions related to subject knowledge.

- The application fee for Ph.D. is Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for reserved categories).

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, also known as Dr. RML Avadh University or simply Avadh University, is a university located on NH96 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1975 by the government of Uttar Pradesh.Prof. Manoj Dixit has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor on dated 25 May 2017. Prof. Dixit is 16th Vice-Chancellor of the University. The largest display of oil lamps is 301,152 and was achieved by Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Rammanohar Lohiya Avadh University at Ram Ki Paidi, in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, on 6 November 2018. The university is spread over an area of 112.24 acres. It has 23 buildings which include the administration building, Kautilya administration building, examination building, an under-construction auditorium, health centre, central library, entrance examination cell, physics and electronics building, guest house and IT centre. It has four boys' hostels and faculty housing.
