- Candidates should reach the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

Uttar Pradesh's government established Avadh University, Ayodhya, by notification No. 1192 / fifteen-10-46(6)-1975 dated March 4, 1975 and appointed Prof.(Dr.) Surendra Singh as the first Vice Chancellor, initially as an affiliated university. In 1993-94, it was renamed Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya in the memorial of late Dr. Rammanohar Lohia, an epic socio-economic ideologue and fighter for liberty par excellence. The university began its office initially in a rental building in Civil Lines, Ayodhya. Phase of land acquisition for formal office of varsity began in 1976.
