The University will release the semester exam result in online mode at its official website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download DSPMU Result 2020.
- Step 1: Visit the official DSPMU website, www.dspmuranchi.ac.in.
- Step 2: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University’s official website will open.
- Step 3: Scroll down the home page and go to the section named 'Examination.'
- Step 4: Click on ‘View more Examination Updates’.
- Step 5: Search for the result link and click on it.
- Step 6: Check the result. Download it and take a printout of it.

DSPMU Semester Exams
The final semester exams shall be held in each course at the end of each semester. The final semester examination is basically a two-and-a-half-hour theoretical paper. It is the university's responsibility for administering the theory part of the final semester test. The corresponding colleges are to perform realistic exams. ln affiliated colleges, the final practical examination shall be conducted and evaluated by the - nominated teacher from University College.
DSPMU Revaluation Application
In case any student is not satisfied with his / her result after the declaration of result. He / she can opt for the subject examination revaluation. Candidates may apply within one week to recheck the answer sheet and announce the key result. Candidate has to follow the steps given below to apply for online inspection of Answer Book:
- Open the official website for result revaluation.
- Click on the Student corner section.
- Go to the examination information tab.
- Search for the revaluation form.
- Apply for reporting of the problem in Answer Book Viewed.
- After submission, print the application form for future reference.
The result of the recheck will also be announced within one month, students can verify the results from the official website after the re-evaluation by following the steps below to test the outcome of the re-evaluatio:
- Visit the official website of the University i.e. http://www.dspmuranchi.ac.in/.
- Now go to the Student Corner that is on the Notification page.
- On the notice board tab, click on the Result button.
- Now select your courses.
- Enter roll number and finally press the submit button
- Your result will show up on your screen.
- Candidate must print the result for future reference.
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University
The University of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, formerly Ranchi College, is a state university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It is named after Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, an Indian politician. It was established in 1926 as a college and in 2017 upgraded to a university. The University of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is the only college with a senior division (boys), a senior wing (girls) in the military. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is the first college in the country to take out a Vijay Diwas procession of the students, Teachers and Non-teaching staff of the college along with Ncc cadets of the college after the Kargil War. Situated on the tropic of cancer, at an altitude of 651m from sea level amidst tropical flora and fauna, Ranchi College, Ranchi (now upgraded as a Unitary State University and known as Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi) had been established during the Pre- Independent India.
