GU Result 2020: Semester And Annual Exam Result, How to check?

GU Result 2020 will be released by Goa University. The result will be declared by Goa University in online mode over the official website. The university follows odd and even semester pattern for all its courses. End-semester examinations are conducted for odd and even semesters in the months of December and July, respectively. The results are usually published within a few days after the end-semester exams on the university website. Candidates qualifying for the exams will be promoted into the course's next semester. Semester results for GU programs will be published to the official website of the university within one month of the final exams. Upon entering their respective roll numbers, candidates can check their scorecard along with the rank, and access the electronic mark sheet for the current session year.
Latest update
The University has decided to postpone the commencement of all examinations from 01.07.2020 to 03.08.2020. The mode in which the examinations are to be conducted from 03.08.2020 onwards will be communicated shortly.
GU Result 2020
Goa University announces the end result of the Term-End semester examination in no more than 25-30 days after the examination begins. For each semester and respective UG /PG courses, the University declares the examination result separately. Students must download their respective semester results and course from the official website. All the candidates have to visit the official website and check the respective courses and year/semester exam result through the roll number and registration number.
How to download GU Result 2020?
The University will release the semester exam result in online mode at its official website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download GU Result 2020.
- Step 1: Visit the GU official website.
- Step 2: Go to the System section from the top menu bar of the website home page.
- Step 3: Then click on the examination tab.
- Step 4: Hit the result section there.
- Step 5: A new window will be made accessible and entre the roll number or registration number there.

Revaluation of Answer Sheet
Goa University provides an opportunity by which candidates who are not satisfied by the marks secured by them can apply for revaluation or may demand for the copy of examination answer sheet. The revaluation forms will be available online at the university's official website. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the university under any circumstances. The candidate will have to apply for revaluation of answer sheet only during the dates set by the authority. Nobody has the authority to apply for the revaluation of answer sheet of any other applicant. After filling the form, candidates have to deposit the requisite fees which will be non-refundable in any case.
GU Revaluation Application
After the declaration of result, in case any student is not satisfied with the result. They can opt for the Revaluation of the subject exam. Candidates can apply for the rechecking of the answer sheet within 10 days after declare the main result.
Candidate has to follow the steps given below to apply for inspection of Answer Book:
- Student may to apply for revaluation within 10 days from the date of receipt of individual statement of marks for an examination he/she appeared.
- The Application form with necessary fees should be submitted through the Principal of the College to the University.
- The Revaluation results are normally declared within 2 months of the date of submission of request to the University.

Goa University
Goa University was established under the Goa University Act of 1984 (Act No. 7 of 1984) and commenced operations on 1 June 1985. The university provides higher education in the Indian state of Goa. After the annexation of Goa by India on 19 December 1961, the University of Mumbai established a Centre of Post-Graduate Instruction and Research (CPIR) in Panaji. The CPIR offered affiliation to the first colleges that were instituted in Goa in June 1962. Since 1985, the Goa University took over the role of the CPIR. The University offers graduate and post-graduate studies and research programmes. It is currently (2014-19) accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in India with a rating of A Grade.
