IARU Gandhinagar Admission 2020 Doctorate Courses
For admission in PhD programme, candidates shall have a master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master’s degree, with minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale. Candidates appearing in the final year examination can also appear in the PET examination, but the final admission process for such qualified candidates depends on the production of a valid document for their minimum qualification at the time of admission. IAR Gandhinagar Admission Process 2020
Candidates have to submit admission application form along with applicable fee for the respective program (separate application forms for separate programs if candidate is applying for multiple programs) as per the admission schedule declared on the university website from time to time.
- University will set the criteria for merit and will offer admission to all candidates with at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination for UG and PG programs.
- Applicants having marks less than 60% are also eligible for admission by following an interview.
- Applicants seeking admission will be given admission only after the verification of eligibility and the payment of the applicable registration fee. The students also need to pay semester fee in prior to the commencement of semester.
- Candidates who fail to provide confirmation of acceptance of admission by the last date provided by administrations will be considered as Withdrawn and in such cases, seat will be offered to the other eligible candidate.
- If a student fails to show academic eligibility after the confirmation to admission, then there admission will be considered as Cancelled (due to non eligibility) and the seat will be offered to another eligible candidate. In such cases, registration fees will not be refunded.
- Admissions to B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA programs are done through the centralized online admissions process conducted by the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses).

Hostel And Mess Fees
University also provides limited hostel facility on first come first serve basis. It has separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. Students can apply for hostel facility only after his/her admission. Students have to pay the applicable hostel fee including mess charges for one semester at the time of admission. The university hostels are allotted as per rules and regulations of university and university reserves the right of admission.
In case of campus hostel facility is full university will recommend / allot hostel accommodation with outside service providers having MOU with university. The charges for the same will have to be paid in advance at university office. The charges for outside hostel facility may vary as per the choice of facility opted for. University provides canteen and cafeteria facility within campus at separate cost to all non-hosteller students also. The mess facility is not mandatory for students allotted with hostel facility with outside service provider.
