Jai Prakash University Admission 2023 will commence tentatively in the month of January. JPU was established in 1990 by the enactment of Section 3(b) of Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 and located in Chapra, Bihar, India. The university is a State University recognized by the UGC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.
The university was established on 22 November 1990 by the Government of Bihar to the needs of higher and quality education for the people of Saran commisionary. JPU offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in most of the subjects.

The university offers three-year degree programs in the disciplines of Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, and Commerce. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Intermediate level examination will only get admission in the corresponding courses. For the admission in Honors level, it is mandatory to clear the intermediate level exam with a score of at least 45 % in the related subjects.
Minimum eligibility for admission in three-year programs in Law (LLB) is to have a graduation level degree in any discipline with at least 40% marks.
