Since the Jai Prakash University conducts the examination once a year it publishes the result once a year as well. Results of all courses the university offers get a release after a few days period. The university makes the result available on their website. The university typically makes the results available to all students who have enrolled in any of the courses in the month of July/August. The university has published the result of several courses as of now but even the result of a few courses is pending. Students should expect the result of the remaining of the course by the last week of August.

How to download JPU Result 2020?

• Step 1: Visit the JPU official website.
• Step 2: Students  will have to click on ‘News & Announcements’ tab which is available at the top-right side of the homepage.
• Step 3: A drop-down list will appear when you will click on the tab, now click on ‘Examinations & Results’ option from it.
• Step 4: Here students will find the ‘Results’ head while scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
• Step 5: Students will be taken to another page now, on this page, select your examination year and enter your ‘Roll Number’ to get your result.
• Step 6: Now press the ‘Submit’ button.
• Step 7: Result will appear on the screen of your computer, check it and save/print it for future use.

JPU Annual Exams

The Annual final examinations shall be held at the end of each year in each course. The Annual final examination is mainly the theory paper of two and a half hours duration. lt shall be the responsibility of the university to conduct the theory portion of the semester final examination. Practical examinations shall be conducted by the respective colleges. ln affiliated colleges, the final practical examination shall be conducted and evaluated by the - nominated teacher from University College.

Revaluation of Answer Sheet

Jai Prakash University provides an opportunity by which candidates who are not satisfied by the marks secured by them can apply for revaluation or may demand for the copy of examination answer sheet. The revaluation forms will be available online at the university's official website. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the university under any circumstances. The candidate will have to apply for revaluation of answer sheet only during the dates set by the authority. After filling the form, candidates have to deposit the requisite fees which will be non-refundable in any case. The University will check the application and then allow the recheck after the process is over and the final marks after revaluation will be uploaded in the final mark sheet.

Jai Prakash Vishwavidyala (University) was established on 22.11.90 by the enactment of Section 3(b) of the Bihar State Universities Act , 1976 with its headquarters in Chapra, Bihar University (now B.R.A. Bihar University) Muzaffarpur, Carving it out of that time. It is situated in the outskirts of Chapra city covering an estimated area of 280 acres. The university offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in most of the subjects. The university comprises of 21 constituent and 12 affiliated colleges situated in the districts of Chapra, Siwan, and Gopalganj. Other than this, the university also comprises of 16 affiliated B. Ed. Colleges, an engineering college namely Loknayak Jai Prakash Engineering College, and a recently proposed medical college.
