The university has initiated an online application system for its Post Graduate, Diploma, and Ph.D. programmes. Application form and prospectus for admission to the Post Graduate, and Ph.D. programmes are going to available on the KUFOS official website.

Admission through KUFOS Entrance Exam
The KUFOS conducts different exams for admitting the students in different courses. Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Courses (KEAM) & Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE)– The exam is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Fisheries Science and B.Tech in Food Technology. Common Admission Test (CAT) – CAT is conducted by KUFOS for enrolling the candidates in Post-graduate programmes and Ph.D. programmes.

KUFOS Admit Card 2023
KUFOS hall ticket is released online on the official website. For downloading the KUFOS admit card candidates need to enter the login credentials. It’s mandatory for the candidate to carry the hall ticket on the day of the examination as without it candidate is not allowed to sit for the examination.
KUFOS Result 2023
The list of candidates selected for admission based on Entrance Test/ Interview / Group Discussion is published at the university official website kufos.ac.in. The KUFOS Result for the entrance exam is available in online mode only. It will not send through the post as per last year's record. Candidates must take the print of the scorecard or result as it will be required at the time of the admission.
KUFOS Scholarship
Post-graduate and Ph.D. students are being awarded the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies Merit Scholarship and KUFOS Fellowship according to their eligibility.
KUFOS FELLOWSHIPS: Meritorious students admitted to the Master’s Degree Programme in the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies are eligible for the Junior Fellowship. Meritorious candidates admitted to the Ph.D. programme are eligible for the Senior Fellowship. The University offers five fellowships each for Postgraduate and Ph.D. students from each School. Junior fellowship is Rs. 2,000/- per month and Senior Research fellowship is Rs. 13,000/- per month.
MANAPPURAM FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Three students from the general category and three belonging to the fisherman community undergoing the MBA programme are eligible to receive the Manappuram Foundation scholarship. The amount of scholarship is Rs 4000/-per month. This scholarship will be awarded to eligible students each semester.
KUFOS Counselling 2023
Kerala University of Fisheries & Ocean Studies Kochi will begin counseling for all eligible and qualified students. Candidates are expected to attend the counseling round on the date specified at the venue to ensure their admission. Candidates will carry along the original copies of the aforementioned documents along with their self-tested photocopies. Documents needed during the counseling process are listed below.

- No Objection Certificate and experience certificate obtained from the controlling officer concerned in the case of in-service candidates.
- Nativity certificate in the case of candidates from outside Kerala.
- Certificate in support of any other reservation claimed as specified in the application to prove their claims.
