Shiv Nadar University Admission 2023 has four different routes that can be taken for admission. These include submitting JEE Mains scores from 2023 or 2022, taking the SNUSAT and APT exams, applying with your SAT score, or applying with your ACT score along with an interview for each route. All applications should be submitted as soon as possible, with Round-1 offers expected to begin in January 2023. Shiv Nadar University’s eligibility criteria is developed to shortlist candidates with subject knowledge which serves as the foundation for each program. While students are admitted to a specific program, the University offers flexibility to transfer to another program/school in the University after completion of one year in the program (admitted to), subject to policies governing such transfer.
Shiv Nadar University (or SNU) is a private university founded in 2011 in Greater Noida in India. It was founded by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, a private philanthropic foundation founded by Shiv Nadar, founder, and chairman of HCL. The University was established by Act no. 12 of 2011 of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh as a State Private University and was empowered by the UGC to award degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. The University started the Engineering Majors in the Academic Year 2011-12 with the approval of the AICTE. The University is currently registered with DSIR, Government of India as a Research Institution.

Shiv Nadar University’s selection process has three parts:
Details of the updated process is as follows:
I. Apply Through SAT (College Board) Scores
The prospective candidates can apply through SAT scores in addition to other modes of admissions (but only once). The shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding a personal interview with select respective department to be eligible for final selection.
II. Apply Through ACT scores
The prospective candidates can apply through ACT scores in addition to other modes of admissions (but only once). The shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding a personal interview with respective department to be eligible for final selection.
III. Apply Through SNUSAT and APT
Candidates can apply through SNUSAT and APT test. The shortlisted candidates (after SNUSAT and APT) will be informed regarding their personal interview with respective departments to be eligible for final selection. (In Case of School of Engineering & School of Humanities and Social Sciences (select programs) the candidates are not required to appear for an interview.)
IV. Apply Through JEE Mains Scores
- Candidates applying through JEE Mains 2021 & 2022 score of 80 percentile or above are eligible for direct offer of admission on the basis of
- JEE Mains 2022 & 2023 score
- Cut-off score decided by the University for various Departments of School of Engineering & School of Natural Sciences
- If the candidate has less than 80 percentile in JEE Mains 2022 & 2023, they are advised to apply through the SNUSAT & APT tests
