UPES Dehradun Scholarship

The University provides scholarship to the meritous candidates for their Higher Education. The candidates can check below types of scholarship provided. The candidate is entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time.

Scholarship for Girl Candidates

Under this only female candidates can apply. 

•  25% Scholarship on tuition fees for all girls taking admission in any of the UG & PG courses
• This scheme is applicable to full-time programmes only.
• On a yearly basis, this scheme gets renew. 
• Minimum attendance in the previous year should not be less than 75%
• The student should not have any disciplinary case/action

Up to 100% Merit-based Scholarship

Under this, the university provides financial assistance for separate courses. In subsequent years merit scholarship policy of the University will be followed.

• The scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X & XII & 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams).
• Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats only.
• Scholarships will be allotted for the first Semester in Merit order to eligible candidates.
• 50% on Tuition fee for the first Semester

• Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
• The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand residents.
• A candidate should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
• 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in the first year

• Merit-Based scholarship - 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats of each program in the first semester. The candidate should have secured 75% marks in class 10th and 12^th
• Uttarakhand State Board Toppers Scholarships-
  • Minimum 80% aggregate in Class 10^th & 12^th in UK State Board
  • 150 toppers from UK State Board
  • Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
  • The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand Domicile students.
  • Should have Permanent Residence Certificate
  • 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girls in the first year

• Merit-Based Scholarship - One should have secured 75% marks in class X & XII.
• 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats of each program in first sem only.
• Uttarakhand State Board Toppers Scholarships- 
  • Minimum 80% marks in each of X, XII class and 80% aggregate for BBA and Law in Class X & XII in UK State Board
  • 150 toppers from UK State Board
  • Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
  • 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girls.

• Minimum 80 percentile score in CAT/XAT & minimum 90 percentile score in MAT, NMAT, UPESMET & any other National Level Entrance Test.
• 10% seats in each program for 25% tuition fee waiver in 1st semester
