- To register, click the link and go to the website.
- Go over all of the information on the website.
- Fill in the details such as GATE, personal information, and so forth with care.
- Use the OTP to verify your email address and mobile number.
Candidates can then move on to the choice locking section.
CCMT 2022 Registration Process
There are three stages to CCMT counselling and registration. The procedure is straightforward, but you must exercise caution when filling out the form. Take a look at the following steps:
- Stage 1: Registering and securing your selection
To begin, you must first register for counselling online and pay the registration cost. Following that, the candidates can choose which programme and institution they want to enrol in. If the registration form contains the candidate's preferences, it must be printed. While reporting physically, each candidate must sign and submit their application.
- Stage 2: The second stage is divided into five sections. The following are the details:
- Seat Allocation – Candidates can enrol in the college of their choice based on seat availability.
- Acceptance fee deposit - Once a seat has been selected, candidates must physically report and show proof of payment.
All needed documentation, including the letter of allotment, must be delivered in person. Other documents that are required to be uploaded must be done so online.
Once the documents have been uploaded, online document verification takes place.
Finally, dependent on their college, candidates have three options:
- Floating - In this case, candidates might take part in the CCMT 2nd round allotment to boost their chances of being accepted into a different college.
- Slide - Candidates who participate in the second round have a better chance of getting a variety of options within the same Institute.
- Freeze - If a candidate is happy with their pick and college, they can freeze their seat.
Following the completion of the process, the designated Institute will conduct an online document verification process. An ODCV, or online document verification certificate, is generated once the process is completed. While physically reporting to the Institute, candidates can provide the same and sign a copy.
CCMT 2022 Reporting Centres
For the document verification process, candidates must report to CCMT reporting centres/help centres. The document verification process is only for those students who have qualified for GATE and have been assigned seats once the counselling process is completed. The examination conducting authority or institute release a list of reporting centres, and candidates must identify and attend a reporting centre near them for subsequent admission procedures. Candidates must additionally pick an option at the reporting centres to indicate their readiness to engage further in the admission process. Candidates have the following options:
- Freeze - This option is available to candidates who are satisfied with the admission process and seat assignment but do not wish to continue with the counselling procedure.
- Slide - This option is available to candidates who desire to upgrade their seats to a more favoured degree within the same institute. The authorities in question will make the final decision.
- Float - Candidates who want to be admitted to a superior college should choose this option.
Note: Candidates should also keep in mind that they must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs.30,000 before proceeding to the reporting centre for further admission procedures.
