UPSC CDS 1 2022 Exam Pattern

The CDS 1 2022 test pattern is comprised into two sections:

• Written Exam,
• Intelligence Test and
• Personality Test

Officer Training Academy and Indian Naval Academy/Indian Military Academy/Indian Air Force have various exam patterns for the CDS 1 examination.

• Exam Pattern for IMA, INA, and OTA in the CDS

The exam for the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Indian Air Force is made up of three papers worth a total of 300 points.

Each exam is two hours long in total.

• Officer Training Academy CDS Exam Pattern (OTA)

Officer Training Academy (OTA) exams have two subjects and a total of 200 marks.

The two exams are each 4 hours long (2 hours for each exam).

Application Fee for CDS 1 2022

• The CDS application form costs Rs.200, although SC/ST/Females are excluded from paying the charge.
• Payments can be made in both an offline and an online method.
• Payments can be made using Net Banking, Mastercard/Debit Card, or cash deposit at any SBI Bank branch.

The CDS Selection Process

Every applicant taking the Combined Defence Service Examination 2022 must be aware of the CDS Selection Process 2022. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds a CDS exam to choose outstanding and skilled candidates for positions as officers in the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.

The written exam and the SSB interview are both part of the CDS Selection Process 2022. The CDS exam is divided into stages, each of which is crucial. To advance to the written round, candidates must pass three papers. Following that, candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to the SSB Interview.

During the interview round, the selection committee will assess the candidates' personality, IQ, and psychological aptitude. Both steps of the CDS Selection Process must be completed by candidates.To be selected for CDS 2022, candidates must pass both stages of the CDS Selection Process 2022.

Candidates who make it to the final round will be invited to train at INA Ezhimala, IMA Dehradun, OTA Chennai, and AFA Hyderabad.
