CEPT 2022 Eligibility Criteria have been declared for the candidates. The minimal marks that students must get in order to be qualified to sit for the Bachelor of Interior Design entrance test are part of the CEPT 2022 eligibility criteria.
Candidates must also ensure that they have the required topics in Class 12 in order to meet the CEPT 2022 eligibility criteria. The CEPT eligibility requirements 2022 also list the boards that candidates must have passed in order to take the entrance exam.

CEPT Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, candidates should check the eligibility requirements. As a result, every aspirant must meet the criteria in order to be eligible to apply for the CEPT Entrance Exam 2022. The following are the complete details of the CEPT Entrance Exam 2022:

Bachelor of Interior Design
  • 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory topics OR passed a 10+3 Diploma* examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and a valid NATA score as prescribed by Council.
NOTE: 

A student must have completed a Diploma (I0+ 3) in any field with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from the following institutions:

A University formed or incorporated by or under a Central or State Act, or an institution determined to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act. 1956 (3 or 1956)

     OR

  • Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from a school outside of India and meet the minimum eligibility criteria set forth by the AICTE/Council from time to time, as well as the equivalency established by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, are eligible for admission.

     OR

  • The applicant must complete all of the qualifying examination subjects from a single Board.
Aggregate 50% + NATA Score
Bachelor of Urban Design10+2 with any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts/Humanities) OR Diploma (10+3 pattern) with any streamAggregate 50% Marks
Bachelor of Construction Technology
  • Applicants must have completed 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as optional subjects, and must have appeared in JEE (Main) in the previous year.

      OR

  • Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from a school outside of India and meet the minimum eligibility criteria set forth by the AICTE/Council from time to time, as well as the equivalency established by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, are eligible for admission.

      OR

  • The applicant must complete all of the qualifying examination subjects from a single Board.

Master of DesignA bachelor's degree in design, architecture, or interior design, as well as a construction technology certificate or a diploma in interior design (12+4) are required.
Master of Landscape Architecture
  • A degree in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, or interior design from a recognised university or institution that lasts at least four complete academic years.

         OR  

  • A postgraduate degree in any of the following disciplines: Botany, Ecology, Horticulture, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, Hydrology, or related natural sciences with a mandated bridging course of at least two years of full-time study
  • A four-year bachelor's degree in civil engineering or planning with a bridge course is required.

Master of Landscape Design
  • Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Botany, Ecology, Horticulture, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, Hydrology, or related natural sciences with a mandated bridging course of at least two years of full-time study
  • Four years A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or planning, plus a bridge course, is required.
Master of Technology in - Construction Engineering and Management
  • Civil engineering, construction technology, environmental engineering, urban design and architecture (or equivalent) bachelor's degree
  • Students who have completed the XII Science Examination with Mathematics and Physics as necessary subjects.

Master of Technology in - Structural Engineering Design
  • Civil Engineering, Construction Technology bachelor's degree
  • Students who have passed the XII Science Examination with Mathematics and Physics as necessary subjects.
Master of Technology in Geomatics
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Geoinformatics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Information Technology / Water Resources / Agriculture / Planning / Urban Design and Architecture OR Master's degree in Basic Science / Earth Science / Geoinformatics / Climate Science / Environment Science / Information Technology / Disaster Management and Geography OR Bachelor's degree in Basic Science / Earth Science / Geoinformatics / Climate Science / Environment Science / Information
  • Applicants must have passed the XII Science Examination with Mathematics and Physics as necessary subjects.

Master of Technology in Building Energy Performance
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university/institution in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Technology, Architecture, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture (five-year programmes only).
  • The candidate must have passed the XII Exam in science with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects.

The foundation for calculating aggregate grades:

The candidates' total marks will be computed based on their performance in languages, all topics, and the practical examination.

Note: Candidates will be disqualified if they fail to pass any of the subjects.

Candidates with any other qualifications than those listed will be required to provide an authenticated copy of an equivalence certificate from a recognized authority along with their application.

CEPT Entrance Exam 2022 Reservation of Seats

Candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from schools in Gujarat and (i) Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli (ii) Diu will be given 50% of the total seats available for candidates applying for the bachelor of the interior design programme.
