CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Form

• Candidates can fill the CAT registration form through online mode only.
• The application form can be submitted until May 2023.
• The applicants willing to apply for: Diploma, post-graduation diploma, M. Phil, Ph.D., and certificate programs might get a written application through the mail from the concerned department.
• If candidates applying based on their KMAT/CMAT/CAT (IIM) or GATE score need to mail their Mark list/ Score Sheet (soft copy) to Cochin University (CUSAT) on or before the last date for submitting the online application form.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Admit Card

• CUSAT Common Admission Test hall ticket is available through online mode only.
• Candidates need to enter their: application number, user name, and password to download their admit card.
• Also required to download the admit card and also take a printout of it.
• Aspirants also need to carry their admit cards with them on the exam day without which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates of Kerala state belonging to Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Scheduled Tribe (KST) categories are eligible for applying for the exam, only if they have minimum passing marks in the qualifying examination.
• SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to the non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination, provided that the candidates have passed the qualifying examination.
• For admission to M. Tech programs, candidates with a valid GATE score in the specified subject are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination, provided that the candidates have passed the qualifying examination.
• Undergraduate Programmes in the following chapters: All undergraduate programs, except the Three Year LL.B program, are designed for students who have completed their 12th Grade (Plus 2) with required eligibility conditions. Only graduates with prescribed eligibility conditions can apply for the three-year LL.B program.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: The CUSAT CAT exam would be conducted through online mode (CBT).
• Exam Duration: The candidates would be given 180 minutes (3 hours) to solve the question paper.
• Marking Scheme: The candidates will be given 3 marks for every correct response and one mark will be deducted for every wrong response.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Syllabus

• For B.Tech and 5 Year Integrated M.Sc. Programs: The syllabus includes: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• For Lateral Entry of B.Tech Programme: The syllabus includes: English, Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, and General Engineering.
• For BBA LL.B (Hons) /B.Com LL.B. (Hons.): The syllabus includes General English, Ability in Reasoning and Logical Thinking, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Law-Related Matters.
• For 3 year LL.B. Course: The syllabus consists of English, Comprehension Ability, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Preparation Tips

• The candidates need to make a proper timetable and follow it properly so that they can be consistent in their preparation for the exam.
• Must know about the exam pattern and topic-wise syllabus before they begin their preparation for the exam. 
• Need to be regular in their revision as only revision regularly will help the candidates to get good marks in CUSAT CAT 2023.
• Also, they need to give as many mock tests as they can and solve all the question papers of the previous year.
• Must avoid junk food and need to have a balanced diet.
• The candidates also need to have proper rest and practice yoga or meditation to get relief from stress.
