• The Applicants must fill out the Application form correctly.
• Candidates are allowed to fill in only one application form.
• The application form is only accepted in online mode, no other mode will be accepted.
• Candidates must provide their registered email id and mobile number to get information by email or SMS.
• Candidates cannot withdraw application form once it is submitted successfully.
• Multiple forms submitted by candidates will be rejected.

MITID DAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The students who want to apply for the relevant exam needs to check the MITID DAT 2023 eligibility criteria as under:

• B.Des Programme: 10+2 from any stream form the State Boards AISSCE/ IB/ ISC.
• M.Des Programme:
  
  • The candidates applying for Product Design Transportation Design Interior Space & Furniture Design Retail Design must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, Science or Industrial Design.
  • Applying candidates for Graphic Design Animation Film Design must have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Literature, Media, Film, Animation or any communication design discipline.
  • The applicants interested to apply for User Experience Design must hold Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science or any Design Discipline.
  • Film & Video Design Immersive Media Design Design Management Fashion Management & Marketing interested candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • For Transcultural Design candidates are eligible only when they have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Design.

MITID DAT 2023 Exam Pattern

 The entrance exam is split into 2 phases. the MITID DAT 2023 exam pattern can be known form below points:

• Phase 1: This will be a written exam of 100 marks for 180 Minutes. The DAT tests each student’s ability in Design Problem Solving, Visual Sense, Observation & Perception, Environmental Awareness, Mental Ability and Communication skills through a range of visual and textual questions.
• Phase 2: It consists of Studio test, Personal Interview and Portfolio Presentation. The Studio test generally has 3 parts– doodling, 3D modelling and observation tests.

• The list of shortlisted candidates for the Studio Test and Personal Interview will be declared on the respective websites of MIT ID Pune, Avantika University Ujjain, MIT School of Design Alandi Pune & MIT University Meghalaya.
• The candidates called for the studio test and personal interview are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection.
• The norms for the selection are the sole decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate(s).
