The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET SS 2024) has been postponed due to the G20 Summit scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2024. Here are the details:

• NEET SS 2024 Result Declared: The National Board of Examinations Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET SS 2024).
• Score Card Download Link: The NEET SS 2024 score card can be downloaded from the official websites, nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.
• Qualified Candidates: Those who have qualified will be eligible to participate in the NEET SS counselling for the year 2024. This paves the way for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB super specialty courses.
• NEET SS Exam Groups: The NEET SS 2024 exam covered 13 different groups, including medical, radiodiagnosis, microbiology, pathology, psychiatry, surgical, paediatric, anaesthesiology, pharmacology, ENT, respiratory medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and orthopaedics.
• Merit Lists: NBEMS has released group-wise merit lists for each question paper group, enabling candidates to see their performance in their respective specialty.
• Qualification Criterion: Candidates who scored at or above the 50th percentile in NEET-SS in their respective specialty are considered qualified.
• Validity of Score Card: The NEET SS score card for 2024 is valid for the academic year 2024-24.
• Counselling by MCC: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to conduct two rounds of counselling for 2447 DM and MCh seats. Specific dates for NEET SS counselling 2024 will be announced on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

NEET SS 2024 Application Form

NEET SS 2024 Application Form link to apply will activate in November 2024. The National Board of Examinations will release the Application Form on the NTA Board official website. The Mode of Filling the Application Form of NEET SS  2024 will be online only. The Step By Step Process to fill in the Application form is as follows-

• Visit the Official Website of the National Board of Examinations.
• Click on the Application Form Link present on the Homepage.
• You will be now redirected to a new page.
• The First Step is your Registration Process.
• In the Registration Process- you have to enter your details such as – Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, E-mail ID, Phone Number etc.
• Click on the Submit Button, a Registration ID along with Password is received on your registered mobile number and email id.
• Log In using the credentials and fill in the rest of the details.
• The Rest of the Details includes your Educational Details, Choosing the Test Center, Super Speciality Course etc.
• Recheck all the details before heading to the next step.
• Upload your Photograph and Signature as per the specifications.
• Make the Payment of the Application Form and Click on the submit button.
• Download and take the printout of the Application Form. Keep the Application Form Printout safe for future reference.

NEET SS 2024 Application Fee 

The Exam Fee includes the Examination Fee and Information Bulletin. The candidate has to pay Rs 3750/-(common for all).

• The Registration Fees can be paid using an Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card issued by the Banks in India.
• The Fees will be Non-Refundable and will not be carried forward if the application form is rejected or is found to be ineligible to appear in the examination.
• Candidates are advised to submit the online application form before the closing date. Provide an active mobile number and valid e-mail id.

NEET SS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

NEET SS 2024 Eligibility Criteria is a very important factor in any Admission procedure. If a candidate satisfies the eligibility criteria then only he will be eligible to participate in the Admission process.

Given below are the NEET SS 2024 eligibility criteria for both Indian Nationals and Foreign Nationals.

• The candidate has to submit the Post-Graduate Medical Degree (MS/MD/DNB) or Provisional Pass Certificate or Equivalent Qualification for the Entrance Examination.

• Foreign nationals can appear in NEET-SS 2024 without MCI registration.
• The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Doctoral course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postdoctoral studies.
• Provided further that temporary registration to such foreign national will be subject to the condition that such person is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his own country where from he has obtained his PG Medical qualification and is duly recognized by the corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority.
• This Registration Process is to ensure that whether the applicant has registered from an appropriate country or not.

NEET SS 2024 Exam Pattern

The NEET SS 2024 will be a computer-based examination that will be held on a single day only. For the examination, a candidate can choose a maximum of two super speciality courses at the time of online submission of the application form.

There will be a separate question paper for each super speciality course/ clubbed group.

• A total number of questions will be 100 in each question paper.
• All the questions will be at PG Exit Level

NEET SS 2024 Syllabus

The interested candidate after knowing the exam pattern must know about the NEET SS 2024 Syllabus. It is an important aspect in the preparation of this exam. The candidate must go through the complete NEET SS 2024 syllabus and then start preparing for the exam. Candidates can also cover the following important topics from NEET SS 2024 syllabus as per paper distribution:

The questions in part A of the question paper will consist of MCQs from eligible feeder broad speciality courses. If there is only a single feeder broad speciality course from only one broad speciality, then part A will consist of questions from only one broad speciality.

For the super speciality courses having multiple feeder broad speciality courses, part A will consist of questions from all feeder broad courses.

This part of the paper will consist of 60 questions. These questions will be of PG exit level and will cover topics related to clinical practice and basic sciences.

NEET SS 2024 Admit Card

Candidates who complete the application submission process will be issued the NEET SS 2024 admit cards.

• It is an important document for appearing in the exam, the admit card will contain details like the name of the candidate, roll number, name and address of exam centre, and also the date and time of the exam.
• The candidate must download the admit card before the NEET SS 2024 exam date.
• After downloading the admit card, the candidate needs to paste a photo in the appropriate place.

• Photocopy of permanent or provisional SMC/MCI registration
• A valid photo ID proof in original, which may be any one of the following - PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, or Aadhaar Card

NEET SS 2024 Result

NEET SS 2024 Result will be declared on the official website on the dates scheduled by the NBE.

• A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.
• There will be a separate merit list for each Super Speciality course.
• As per the previous year, the candidates who have to obtain 35 percentile or more in each super speciality merit list will be declared as qualified.

NEET SS 2024 Counselling 

NEET SS 2024 Counselling Round will take place after the release of the NEET SS 2024 result and Merit List.

• There will be common counselling for all seats of NEET SS Counselling 2024.
•  Candidates whose name has been shortlisted on the merit list will be eligible to attend the counselling round. The NEET SS Counselling 2024 process is held in two rounds.
• Candidates have to do a separate registration. They have to mention all the details correctly to participate in the counselling round. Candidates have to carry their required documents at the time of reporting to the allotted college for the course admission

Courses offered through NEET SS 

Some of the Super Specialty Courses which have fewer seats and have a single common feeder are clubbed together. The Clubbed Group of the Super Specialty Courses will be treated as one of the purposes for the Online Submission of the Application Form.

NEET SS 2024 Test Center

At the time of the submission of the application form, candidates are supposed to submit their options for Test Center.

• The chosen city will be allotted by the National Board of the Examinations. The allotment of the examination centre will be purely based on the first cum first service.
• Candidates can check their NBE NEET- SS Exam Center/Test Center on the Admit Card. The Test Centers will be allocated seven days before the date of the examination.
• If in case the Test Center is not available, the one you prefer, then you can choose from other options from the list of the states.
• If in case that test centre is not available due to certain reasons then, a nearby test centre/examination centre will be allocated to the candidate.
