SMIT B.TECH 2023 Counselling Process will start from 07 May 2023 by SMIT (Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology). The entrance exam is going to be held on 01 May 2023. This exam is conducted to admission into B.tech programmes in different branches such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering. It is a university-level conducted once a year. SMIT B.Tech 2023 Counselling Procedure
Candidates will have to follow the given procedure for SMIT counselling 2023:
- Registration: In the first step, the candidates will have to register for the SMIT counselling process. Candidates will be able to check their allotted counselling date on the letter sent through email. The required details have to be provided by the candidates during SMIT 2023 counselling registration.
- Filling of Choices: After the registration is completed, the candidates will have to fill in their choice of courses in the order of preference. Click on 'Submit'.
- Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, preference and availability of seats. The seat allotment status will be released on the official website. The rank obtained in SMIT/JEE Main/MET will be taken into consideration.
- Confirmation of Admission: After allotment, the candidates will have to confirm their allotment by verifying their documents and paying the admission fee. If the confirmation is not be done before the final date, then their candidature will be cancelled.

- Birth certificate / Class X pass certificate
- Marks sheet of class 10
- SMIT 2023 hall ticket
- Original JEE score card (if applicable)
- Transfer certificate or school/college leaving certificate
- Character certificate
- Migration certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate (if applied under reserved category)
- Defence, North East, PMF or NRI category certificate (if applicable)
- Four recent and identical passport size photographs
- Anti-Ragging Declaration forms

SMIT Admission 2023 Scholarship
Check the below information regarding the SMIT Admission Scholarship:
- 30% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) percentage 90 and above.
- 20% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) percentage between 85 and 90.
- 10% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) percentage between 80 and 85.
- 10% concession on Course fee to the immediate siblings of SMIT Students for taking admission in the B Tech course.
- 75% concession in tuition fee is given to students sponsored by Govt. of Sikkim.
