SMIT B.TECH 2023 Result will be announced on 04 May 2023 after the exam. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 01 May 2023. SMIT (Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology) for admission into B.tech programmes in the following branches: Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering. Tie-Breaking Rules for SMIT 2023 Rank List
If two or more two candidates will obtain the same rank then the authority will follow the inter-se-merit procedure as the tiebreaker. The procedure to break the tie is available below.
- The authorities will consider marks secured in Mathematics in Class 12. A candidate having more marks than others will get a higher rank.
- If the tie persists, the authorities will consider marks secured in Chemistry in Class 12. A candidate with more marks than others will get a higher rank.
- If the tie still exists, the authorities will consider marks secured in Physics in Class 12. A candidate with more marks than others will get a higher rank.
SMIT B.Tech Counselling 2023
The authorities will conduct the SMIT B.Tech 2023 counselling. Candidates will have to choose their preferred courses during the counselling process. Candidates will also be required to carry all the relevant documents to the counselling venue for the document verification process. The final seat allotment will be done based on the merit list, availability of seats and choices set by candidates.
