SMIT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria is decided by the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, SMIT. The eligibility criterion is a set of requirements that all candidates must meet before submitting an application. Candidates must meet certain requirements, such as passing a qualifying exam, having a certain percentage, and so on. A non-eligible candidate will not be issued the SMIT admit card by the admissions authority. - Eligibility Criteria for SMIT BTech (ECE, CSE, EEE, IT, ME, CE)
To apply for the BTech programme, you must have taken a recognised Institute/Class University's 12 or equivalent test with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Biology. The candidate should have received a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC).

An applicant must have earned a Diploma in the relevant field OR a BSc in Mathematics. The qualifying exam should have yielded a score of 60% or higher.

About SMIT B.Tech Admission 2023
At Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, fundamental eligibility for UG and PG courses is based on merit in the previous qualifying exams. Academic merit is used to determine admission to SMIT. The institute does, however, take into account the results of several entrance exams held at the national, state, and university levels.
