TIET Result 2022: Dates, How to Download Result, Tie-Breaking

TIET Result 2022 for the PhD entrance exam will be released by the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology on its official website after the exam will get over. The candidates will able to check their result by login there registered mail id & password on the official website of the competent authority. TIET Result 2022
Thapar University Result 2022 will be released online for all courses. A different merit list will be prepared by the University for the candidates who are applying for admission based on GATE/NEET/JEE Mains scorecard.
- The merit list/result will be published in July 2022.
- Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for counselling & then the admission will be given.
- For PhD admission they need to qualify the entrance exam after that result will be displayed. Those who will qualify will only be called for the counselling process.
- The complete authority will not send the scorecard via post to any individual.
How to Download TIET Result 2022?
The candidates who will appear in the PhD entrance exam & who will be selected for counselling can check the result by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1 - Visit the official website of the Thapar University & find the link to download the result & click on the same.
Step 2 - Then enter the login credentials asked & submit the same.
Step 3 - On entering the details result will be opened.
Step 4 - Download the same & retain it untill the admission process gets over.
TIET Result 2022 Tie-Breaking Rule
In case of a tie among candidates securing equal marks in the merit list of the PhD entrance exam, the same will be broken in accordance with the following criteria:
- Candidate senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.
- If the tie will still persist, a candidate getting a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall be ranked higher in order of merit.
- In the case of a tie in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination also, a candidate securing higher percentage of marks in matriculation/secondary or equivalent examination shall rank higher in order of merit.
