TISS NET 2024 final answer key is released on March 13, 2024. TISS NET (Short for TISS National Entry Test) is a computer-based (online) exam that is held every year in 39 cities for admission to 55 Master's degrees in Social Science programs offered at TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences). It is a National level Entrance Examination held annually. The TISS NET application process usually begins in October, and the last date to submit an online form is usually December. TISS offers admission to its full-time (Regular) Postgraduate Programs (M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H.) offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and other locations through TISS NET. TISS NET 2024 Exam Dates

The TISS National Entrance Test (TISS NET) 2024 final answer key is set to release tomorrow, March 13. It will be available at admissions.tiss.edu. The TISS NET provisional answer key was released on March 3, and candidates were able to submit objections until March 8, 2024. The TISS NET examination takes place on February 25, 2024, from 2 pm to 3.40 pm.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts the TISSNET exam for admission to its postgraduate programs. The exam is held once a year, and the important dates for TISSNET 2024 are as follows

TISS NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TISS NET 2024 Eligibility is mentioned below for all category/gender/educational background etc.
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit followed for granting admission in the Postgraduate courses offered by qualifying the TISS NET.
Educational Qualification
  • Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree of a minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or equivalent (under the 10+2+3 OR 10+2+4 OR 10+2+2+1) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
  • Some Masters’ Degree Programmes will have additional/specific eligibility requirements, which can be found on the official website.
  • Candidates who will complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year valid degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by Wednesday are also eligible to apply.
  • Those candidates eligible to apply but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit by the due date(to be announced), failing which their provisional admission would stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate.
  • At the time of applying, candidates studying in a 3-year degree Programme should have passed in all the subjects for the First to Fourth semesters, and candidates studying in 4-year degree Programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the First to 6th semester.
  • Until a candidate submits her/his degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of completing the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.
  • Eligibility, determined based on the application's information, will be used for the final selection process. If the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading at any point in time, her/his candidature/admission will be summarily cancelled.
  • Candidates shortlisted for personal interviews are required to produce an original certificate and mark sheet on the personal interview date to verify that the candidate is eligible for admission.

TISS NET 2024 Admit Card

TISS NET 2024 Admit Card will be available on the official website of TISS. Candidates are requested to follow the guidelines mentioned below:
  • TISS NET 2024 Admit Card will be released before the exam in online mode.
  • Applicants are supposed to download their TISS NET 2024 Hall Ticket from the official website as the Admit Cards will not be sent by post to any candidate.
  • Candidates must take their Admit Cards along with themselves to the examination centre, without which they might be debarred.
  • Applicants must carry a government Photo ID proof in original for cross verification.

TISS NET 2024 Result

The details regarding the TISS NET 2024 Results are given below.

  • TISS NET 2024 Results would be announced on the official website and nowhere else. 
  • Candidates are requested to remember their Login credentials, without which they might not get access to their results.
  • An Interview will be conducted for the applicants who have qualified for the written test, but that Interview will also have a Pre-Interview test.
  • There would be a waiting list for the Candidates who did not perform too well or too bad, so they’ll get admission if there are vacant seats by the end of TISS NET 2024 Counselling.

TISS NET 2024 Admission Process

After the written test, the qualified students have been shortlisted for the next TISS NET  2024 admission through GD and PI rounds. PIT has been cancelled for this year. Students have to appear for Personal Interview remotely using online mode. For students who have already appeared for PIT and PI in the Mumbai campus, PIT scores will be discarded, and only TISS NET and PI scores will be considered for final assessment.

Students will not have to travel to the TISS campuses as the process will only be carried out online. At the time of PI rounds, students will be tested on their knowledge of the subject chosen. After Interview rounds, students will be placed on the merit list or waitlist, which will be released online

TISS NET 2024 Counselling

TISS NET 2024 Counselling will be conducted for those candidates who have made it through all the selection criteria like TISS National Entrance Test 2024 written examination, Pre-Interview Test, and Interview.

  • A merit list would be prepared for the Candidates who have qualified for all the above-mentioned stages, and if there still is a vacancy, it will be offered to the candidates who were put on the waiting list.
  • No student would be offered direct admission.
