CENTAC 2023 Application Form

• All the details asked for in the Registration/Application form are Mandatory.
• E-mail ID and mobile number should remain the same till the admission process is completed otherwise students might not get all the important details.
• An Email ID once used for Registration online cannot be used again.
• Once the application form is submitted online, a request for any change in the data entered in the application form will NOT be entertained.
• Incomplete/incorrect applications are liable to be rejected at any stage without prior information to the candidate.

How to Apply for CENTAC 2023 ?

Candidates can check the steps to fill the application form given below.

• Visit the official website of CENTAC 2023.
• Click on Sign up button and register yourslef.
• Then, enter all the asked details such as name, date of birth, contact number, password, etc.
• candidates will then receive an email on the registered email id and password with the login credentials.
• Login into account with these credentials and enter the details such as personal, educational details, etc.
• Now,  upload the documents as per the specifications precribed by the authority
• Pay the application fee via online mode by the following modes
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Net banking, etc.
• Submit the CENTAC 2023 application form and print it for future reference.

CENTAC 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up the Application form candidates must ensure that they fulfill the required eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form. CENTAC 2023 Eligibility criteria are mentioned below for all the courses and streams which must be checked by respective candidates to know their eligibility:

• The candidate or whose parent or Guardian has been residing continuously in this Union
  Territory for at least five years preceding the date of application.
• Children of natives of U.T. of Puducherry who has declared any place in U.T. of
  Puducherry as their hometown and so certified by their respective Heads of Office. Nativity
  A certificate in the prescribed format has to be enclosed.
• Children of Defence Personnel who were killed or disabled in action and children of Central
  Government Servants/ Pondicherry UT Government Servants/Defence Personnel/
  Employees of Public Sector Undertaking wholly or substantially run either by the Central
  Government or by the Puducherry UT Administration who died while in the service in the
  Puducherry UT.
• Those who have passed the SSLC / HSC or any other public examination and for that
  purpose had undergone academic studies continuously for 5 successive classes
  immediately preceding the qualifying examination in a recognized educational institution located in Pondicherry UT and having their residence in Pondicherry UT for 5 years continuously during that period. Mere stay in places such as residential hostel would not amount to the residence.

CENTAC 2023 Merit List

CENTAC 2023 Merit List will be as it is given below:

• The criteria for preparing the Merit List vary from course to course.
• CENTAC MERIT LIST will be prepared based on the marks scored in the qualifying exams like NEET, JEE, or based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Contact Pondicherry may publish the MERIT LIST as a Draft giving the candidates one or two days to raise objections if any. The Final Merit List will be published after considering the objections if any.
• A separate CENTAC Merit List will be prepared for Government Quota Seats & Management Quota Seats. The students should refer to the CENTAC website www. centacpuducherry. for the merit list of all the courses.
• In case the CENTAC ONLINE application is reopened for any Course, then the Merit List will be updated with all the new applications received in the due course. This may alter the existing Merit List as well.

CENTAC 2023 Counselling

After the declaration of the CENTAC 2023 merit list, all the selected candidates of CENTAC 2023 are required to appear for the online counseling round.

• CENTAC 2023 counseling process can be done in one or more rounds as per the necessity of the course selected by the candidates.
• Counseling will be done through a computer module based on the preferences entered by the Candidates.
• Generally, the CENTAC 2023 counseling consists of round 1, round 2, and mop-up round. CENTAC has the right to conduct as many counseling rounds as per the necessity or requirement of seats for any concerned course.
• Mock allotments shall be done only for the courses for which the selected candidate has been notified separately.

About CENTAC

Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) works under the Govt. of Puducherry. It is a common admission platform for all the colleges of the Union Territory of Puducherry. It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. CENTAC provides both government and private colleges to the candidates. Candidates will get the colleges as per their rank in the merit list released by the CENTAC. It conducts various counseling rounds for the allotment of seats to the candidates.
