How to check CENTAC 2022 Result?
Steps to download results for CENTAC 2022 are given below.
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: A tab of Merit list is present on the top of the site, click on the same.
Step 3: Thereafter click on the course link for which candidate has filled the form.
Step 4: The result opens in a new tab in the form of a merit list, check the name and marks in the list.
Step 5: Download the pdf for the admission process.
Preparation of CENTAC 2022 Merit List
Candidates can check the process of the preparation of the CENTAC 2022 merit list in the below given points:
- Merit List for CENTAC 2022 shall be published depending upon the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examinations like NEET 2022 or in the entrance test conducted by CENTAC.
- The merit list is expected to be published in the form of draft and candidates may get a time period of two days to raise objection and after which the final merit list shall get published.
- After final merit list, no objection can be raised.
- A separate Merit List shall be released for the government & management quota seats.
Note: In case the online application is reopened for any course, then the merit list shall be updated with all the new applications received in the due course.
CENTAC 2022 Tie-breaking Rule
If there will be a case of tie i.e. equal marks scored by two or more candidates, then the following rule will be applied to give rank:
Course: Diploma Courses Polytechnic colleges
- The older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Random number assigned
Course: Undergraduate Arts and Science course
- Total marks secured in 12th class
- If tie will still persist then the older one will be given a priority.
- Computerised lot
Course: Undergraduate Performing Arts, Fine arts & Education Course
- Date of birth - older in age will be given a higher rank.
Course: Undergraduate Hotel Management and catering course
- Marks secured in English and Core subject from the following in the sequential order will be considered:
- Biology
- Maths
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Accountancy
Course: Undergraduate Professional Course (Non-NEET based)
Degree: B.Tech
- Percentage of marks scored in Maths- a candidate with higher marks will be given a better rank
- Percentage of marks scored in Physics
- Percentage of marks scored in the optional subject.
- Total marks in all subjects
- Students who are born earlier
- Computerised LOT
Degree: All Biology – based courses
- Percentage of marks scored in Biology/Botany and Zoology
- Percentage of marks scored in Physics
