DU JAT 2023 registration will begin soon for Undergraduate, Postgraduate admissions. Delhi University Joint Admission Test will be conducted by National Testing Agency. DU JAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted to select candidates for admission in the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), and BA (Hons) Business Economics programs. The Joint Admission Test (JAT) is a part of CUET. Candidates applying for BBS/BMS/BFIA/BBE programs are required to appear and clear the DU JAT entrance test following which they have to appear in a group discussion with a personal interview. DU JAT 2023 Application Form

The application form has been released in February 2023. Candidates must fill the application form very carefully. There are steps that candidates can be followed to fill DU JAT application form 2023.

  • The application form of the entrance exam is to be filled online.
  • Candidates need to create the Login ID and Password for proceeding further.
  • Once the Login ID and Password are created, they need some document to fill the fields asked in the application form like 
    • Class 12th Marksheet
    • Scanned copy of their signature
    • Soft copy of their passport size photograph
    • Annual Income record of family and 
    • Debit / Credit card.
  • After completion of the application form, the candidates need to make the payment by using the card.
  • The application fees depend upon the category of the candidates and the number of courses.
  • The candidate can use the “Save and Logout” option to fill the form in a different session.
  • The same form is saved and the candidate can use it again and make the payment.
  • After the payment is made, then editing in the application form is not allowed.
  • At the time of completion of the payment of the fee, an Acknowledgement Slip is generated.
  • The candidates need to carry the printout of the acknowledgement slip with them at the time of exam and admission.

DU JAT 2023 Application Fee

 Fee for the entrance exam is Rs. 750 for general and OBC students. Rs. 300 is the fee for SC or ST or PwD or EWS students for giving entrance exam.

DU JAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the DU JAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria before start fill application form. Check all the relevant points related to eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:

  • Candidates applying for DU JAT 2023 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates who have passed their senior secondary from CBSE or any other recognized board.
  • Candidates who have appeared in their final exams and their results are awaited can also apply for DU JAT 2023.
  • Candidates should have passed in each subject with no gap year.
  • SC/ST categories shall be given relaxation to the extent of 5% in the respective eligibility criteria and merit for admission prescribed for applicants from the UR category. If, after giving 5% relaxation, these reserved seats remain vacant, further relaxation would be given to the extent required to fill all the reserved seats in the course concerned. Eligibility in such cases is pass percentage.
  • OBC category shall be given relaxation in the respective eligibility in the qualifying examination to the extent of 10% of the eligibility marks prescribed for applicants from the UR Category. For example, if the minimum eligibility for admission to a course is 50% for the UR Category applicants, the minimum eligibility for the OBC category will be 45% (i.e. 50% minus 10% of 50%).
  • PwD category shall be given a relaxation in the respective eligibility for the course concerned in the qualifying examination to the extent of 5%.
  • CW category shall be given a relaxation of 5% in the respective eligibility for
    the course concerned in the qualifying examination.
  • EWS category shall be identical to that of the UR category.
  • Additional Eligibility Criteria and Basis of Selection for the courses of BMS/BFIA/BBE.
  • The aggregate of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other subjects.
  • Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance test and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are: Entrance Test: 65%, Qualifying Examination: 35%.

DU JAT 2023 Admit Card

The Admit Card will be released by Delhi University from one or two weeks before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website of NTA. Candidates must preserve their admit card even after the exam for further process. DU JAT 2023 Admit Card acts as an identity proof, entry in the examination hall will be done only through admit card. To download the admit card:

  • Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website, the authority will not send the hall ticket via post or SMS.
  • For downloading the DU admit card, candidates have to log in with their registration ID and password.
  • Candidates need to enter some required details.
  • Candidates should check their admit card carefully and ensure that every detail printed on the admit card contain such as exam day and time, centre name and address and so on are correct.
  • Candidates are advised to take the print out of their admit card for examination and must carry it in the examination hall along with government photo ID proof.

DU JAT 2023 Answer Key

The DU JAT 2023 Answer Key is expected to be released within two or three days after the exam would be conducted successfully. DU JAT answer key can be found on the official website of DU. If in case, the candidate does not agree with the answers can write a mail to change the answer key accordingly.

DU JAT 2023 Result

The result of DU JAT 2023  has been declared by the NTA on its official website. Candidates who appear for the DU JAT exam have to check their results in online mode only. The result will be followed by the selection process which will be based on the combined average of percentage scored in the DU JAT and the percentage scored in the qualifying exam in the ratio of 65:35 respectively. The final ranks for college and course allotment shall be displayed in the last week of July.

DU JAT 2023 Counseling

The candidates who get higher rank will get an opportunity in the first round of DU JAT 2023 Counseling. After the first round of counselling, a new Cutoff list will be released on the official website.

The candidates whose rank will be in the Cutoff list can attend the next round of Counseling. This process continues until the Seats are available.
