- There is no age limit for this exam.
- Only those candidates who have completed their degree are eligible for this exam.
- Final year candidates or result waiting for candidates also apply for the exam.
- This exam also does not have any fixed percentage criteria.
- Candidates have no limits of attempts for the exam.
- If candidates have already passed the qualifying exam, they have to submit the degree certificate/provisional certificate/course completion certificate/professional certificate/membership certificate issued by the institute or society.

GATE 2024 Eligibility for International Students
The applicants who have obtained or are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India:
