The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has declared final PhD results for PhD admission 2 for admission to various research programmes in the July session. Candidates can check their names on the official website - ignou.ac.in.

• IGNOU conducted PhD entrance exam on Jan 8.
• Results for the same are expected to be announced soon on ignou.ac.in.
• Answer key released on Mar 1, candidates could submit feedback till Mar 4, 6 pm.
• Candidates can check their result on ignou.ac.in when declared.

IGNOU Ph.D. 2021-22 Result 

IGNOU Ph.D. 2023 Result will be declared by NTA on its official website. Candidates will be able to check the same on the official website only.

• Only those candidates will qualify for the exam who will secure more than or equal to minimum qualifying marks as set by the exam authorized body.
• The result will be displayed in the form of a merit list.
• Merit list of the selected candidates is prepared on the basis of their performance in the exam.
• Those who will secure a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance exam (45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers) / Differently abled persons ) will be shortlisted for the interview in order of merit subject to the maximum limit of five times of the available seats.
• Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview/presentation of Synopsis before the Discipline-specific Doctoral Research Committee.
•  The Offer letters for admission will be sent to the selected candidates only.
• Reservation of seats shall be as per Government of India rules.

IGNOU PhD 2023 Test Centres

While applying, candidates must select four examination city centres in order of their preference. The Examination City Centre, once opted, shall not be changed. NTA can change the examination city centre opted by the candidate, if the number of candidates are more/less at any examination city centre.

IGNOU PhD 2023 Application Form

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU Ph.D.) 2023 application form will be available on the official website of the NTA. 

• The candidates had to apply online on the web portal only.
• No offline/hard copy of the application form was accepted.
• Also, they had to upload the scanned copy of all the mandatory documents asked in the prescribed format only.
• The online registration form was to be filled with all the relevant details to avoid the cancellation of the candidature of the applicants.
• Without the fee payment, the authority did not accept the application form.
• Those who have submitted the form successfully will be issued their admit card.

IGNOU PhD 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate should have passed Master's Degree from a University recognized by UGC in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks [50%marks in the case of SC, ST and OBC(Non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates, or for those who had obtained their Master's Degree prior to19 September 1991] excluding grace marks.

IGNOU Ph.D. 2022-23 Admit Card

Admit card for IGNOU Ph.D. 2023 entrance exam will be issued by NTA on the official website soon. 

• Candidates need to download and print the hall ticket for examination purposes & preserve it until the admission process gets over.
• Only those candidates will be eligible to give the exam who hold the hall ticket.
• Candidates have to bring a printed copy of the IGNOU Ph.D. 2023 Admit Card along with an original government valid ID proof.
• Please check the admit card carefully the verify the details mentioned therein are correct, Subject Group, Date of Birth, Gender, etc.

IGNOU PhD 2022-22 Syllabus

The syllabus of the Entrance Test is as per the ‘University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of MPhil / PhD Degrees) Regulations, 2016 consisting of 50% of Research methodology and 50% subject-specific.
